Delicious healthy Mexican food

1- Chili in Walnut Sauce:

Preparation:

1. heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion, garlic and meat. Add the fruits, the Citron and raisins. Leave to cook for 5 minutes, and reserve.
2. blend tomatoes, cinnamon and cloves. Strain and pour over the meat. Cook until slightly dry. Season with salt and pepper and reserve.
3. heat the water and soak almonds for 5 minutes or until you can peel easily. Once peeled, blended with the cream and the milk.
4. fill the chili with meat mixture, bathe with the Walnut Sauce, garnish with parsley and pomegranate.

2- Eggs to the bricklayer:

This recipe is a perfect choice for breakfast and always can choose to choose with full or just egg whites, something very appropriate for those who want to reduce triglycerides and other related problems.

Ingredients:

6 green tomatoes
1 onion
2 green chilies
1 large garlic clove
8 eggs
1/4 bunch of fresh cilantro

Procedure:

1. roasted tomatoes, chilies and onion. Blend with the garlic and cilantro.
2. Add the mixture to a saucepan, add water and cook until they create a light sauce. Season with salt to taste.
3. Add the eggs to the sauce and cook.

4- Nopales salad:

Nopales are one of the more traditional vegetables from Mexico that are worth trying in this very light salad.

Ingredients:
8 medium-sized Cactus without thorns
1 teaspoon baking soda
salt to taste
4 tomatoes, chopped into cubes
1/4 Onion sliced
1 avocado, sliced
1/4 bunch of finely chopped cilantro
fresh cheese crumbled to taste

Procedure:

1. dice the cactus and add to hot water. Add one teaspoon of baking soda and salt to taste. Once cooked, drain.
2. in a bowl, mix all ingredients and stir. Serve.
This recipe can be used as a main dish and you can substitute or add shredded chicken to make it more complete.
